I am a Person Centred therapist and work with you in a holistic and relational way. I will discuss at the initial session whether you are looking for brief, short term or longer term counselling.
I have undertaken additional training to enable me to work with Young People (11 to 18 years). Past experience includes working as a teacher and trainer with both young people and adults.
As a UKCP Accredited graduate from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI), I have an MSc in Person Centred and Experiential Psychotherapy with distinction, a certificate in Trauma (from SPTI), and a diploma in Supervision. Previously I completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Hertfordshire.
I also offer Clinical Supervision to groups and individuals.
I work for IPCS on their diploma in Pastoral Supervision, am a member of APSE (working towards accreditation) and provide individual and group pastoral supervision. I am a Methodist Local Preacher.
